Yarn group C is DROPS's label for Aran weight yarn, called worsted, aran in US patterns. Group C yarns knit to about 16–19 stitches per 10 cm in stocking stitch, so any yarn below can usually replace another in a pattern written for group C. Always knit a tension swatch first.
