We use Royal Mail for most of our deliveries.
Our standard service is Royal Mail 24. This is an untracked service.
Where possible we will despatch orders the same day.
Parcels should usually arrive within 1 to 2 days but can take longer.
We normally despatch Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
Free delivery for UK orders over £30
For orders under £30 the costs are:
Larger items e.g. yarn £3.50
Small items e.g. buttons and smaller needles prices start at £1.50
We may use a courier for larger deliveries with delivery times similar to first class post.
We now offer Royal Mail Special Delivery next day by 1pm. Delivery is Monday to Friday. Delivery restrictions apply please check with us before ordering.
Orders placed before 3.00pm are usually despatched the same day, Monday to Friday excluding holidays.
European Union Delivery
Orders up to 2Kg
For orders up to 2Kg we offer Royal Mail International Tracked or Royal Mail International Signed depending on which service is available for your country.
Delivery should take place between 5 and 7 working days after we despatch but can take longer. Please note that the 2kg limit applies to the total weight of the order including packaging. The packaging adds about 10% to the weight of the order.
Now that the UK has left the EU we no longer charge VAT on your order. VAT is deducted in the basket before you check out.
Items sent to the EU from England, Scotland and Wales are subject VAT and duties in the EU and you may be charged an admin charge.
Orders up to 15Kg (suspended)
We now ship larger orders to the following countries:

Prices vary depending on the service and the weight of the order. These are displayed in your basket before you check out.
Import Duties and Tax
For all international orders you may also have to pay import duties and taxes. These are your responsibility to pay. We have no control over these charges and since they differ from country to country, we cannot predict what they will be in any individual case. If goods are rejected at customs they are usually returned to us. When goods are returned we can only refund for the value of goods that are returned in resaleable condition. We cannot refund postage costs. Our carriers may also charge us return fees these will be deducted from the refund.
Late and Lost Deliveries
Some of our deliveries arrive later than the times given above. These times are given to us by Royal Mail and the couriers that we currently use (DPD and UKMail) and are out of our control. We cannot be held responsible for any delay caused by Royal Mail or the courier. However, we will do everything we can do to ensure you receive your order .
A very small number of deliveries go missing.
Royal Mail class a parcel as missing only after the following times have elapsed:
10 working days after due date for UK deliveries
It is only after these times have elapsed that we can issue a refund or resend your yarn.
