Drops Andes is a luxurious blend of wool and alpaca in a super chunky weight. The alpaca brings a silky softness and the wool adds stability and shape.
Drops Andes is very easy to work with thick needles and hooks, is perfect for winter clothes, accessories and throws and is also ideal for Felting.
The fibres are untreated and so are free from any chemical treatment before being dyed. This highlights the wool’s natural properties and gives the yarn and your work a better quality shape and texture.
DROPS Andes includes some mixed colours. Mixed colours are created by carding the colours together before spinning, which gives a mixed effect. We stock every colour in the Drops Andes range. If Drops have the colour, we stock it!
